Venezuela thanks Azerbaijan for support following devastating earthquakes

Venezuela has expressed its gratitude to Azerbaijan for its solidarity and condolences following the heavy loss of life and widespread destruction caused by two powerful earthquakes, according to Report.
"The Government of Venezuela expresses its sincere appreciation to the Republic of Azerbaijan for its message of solidarity and condolences addressed to our people," Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto said in a post on X.
A 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck northern Venezuela during the night of June 25. The US Geological Survey (USGS) later reported two additional tremors measuring 7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude, occurring just 40 seconds apart.
Venezuelan authorities declared a state of emergency following the disaster. According to the latest reports, the death toll has risen to 164, while 971 people have been injured.
