Vasiko Mamulashvili: I want to show modern Karabakh to Georgian public

Visits by Georgian media representatives and bloggers to Azerbaijan help strengthen friendly ties between the Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples, Georgian blogger and streamer Vasiko Mamulashvili told journalists in Baku.

According to Report, commenting on his upcoming trip to Azerbaijan's Karabakh region, he said he was expecting a memorable experience.

"Every visit is impressive. Although the traces of the war that were visible before have already faded somewhat, I have very high expectations because reconstruction work has already begun," he said.

According to Mamulashvili, the trip will also give Georgian audiences an opportunity to learn more about modern Karabakh.

"Georgian society will see and learn about modern Karabakh," the blogger said.

Highlighting the importance of such visits for relations between the two countries, Mamulashvili stressed their role in strengthening friendship.

"First and foremost, such visits strengthen the friendship between the Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples. And for that, I am very grateful," he added.
