Azerbaijan, along with Somalia, co-chairs the current Open-Ended Intergovernmental Expert Working Group on Adequate Housing for All (OEWG-H), which will develop international recommendations until 2029, UN-Habitat Executive Director Anaclaudia Rossbach said at a press conference dedicated to the opening of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
Report quotes Rossbach as saying, the OEWG-H continues to support UN Member States on housing policy issues.
"Azerbaijan co-chairs this group, along with Somalia. The OEWG-H will work until 2029 and is expected to develop a series of normative recommendations based on current trends, consensus, and existing agreements," Rossbach emphasized.
