UN-Habitat calls WUF indispensable platform for sharing experiences

International platforms like the World Urban Forum (WUF) remain indispensable for sharing experiences and finding practical solutions in urban development, Nga Kor Ming, Malaysia's Minister of Housing and Local Government and current President of the UN-Habitat Assembly, said at a press conference dedicated to the opening of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

"I am convinced that platforms like the WUF remain indispensable, as they allow governments and stakeholders to learn from each other and find practical solutions that can be adapted to different national and local contexts," he said.

Nga Kor Ming also expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for organizing such a large-scale forum.

"In this regard, I would like to express my gratitude on behalf of UN-Habitat to Azerbaijan for creating such a large-scale platform," the minister emphasized.
