UN: Azerbaijan's experience in liberated territories may serve as example for other countries

Azerbaijan's experience in rebuilding liberated territories may serve as a model for other countries facing the consequences of conflict, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed said at the closing press conference of WUF13, Report informs.

"Azerbaijan's restoration of its territories and the promotion of sustainable peace and development serve as a model for rebuilding infrastructure, reintegrating communities, and unlocking economic potential," Mohammed said.

"At a time when the world faces intersecting crises-from climate shocks and conflicts to inequality and housing affordability, as well as mounting debt pressures that limit states' ability to invest in affordable housing, resilient infrastructure, and basic services-the forum demonstrated the particular importance of multilateral cooperation, multilevel governance, and local action," she added.
