UN appoints new resident coordinator in Azerbaijan

Vladanka Andreeva from North Macedonia has been appointed the new UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing diplomatic sources.
The current UN Resident Coordinator Ghulam Isaczai is completing his mission in Azerbaijan in June.
Since 2017, Vladanka Andreeva has been the UNAIDS Country Coordinator in Cambodia, and has also worked in the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and other UN structures. She speaks English, Macedonian, Russian and Serbian.
