The British Embassy in Azerbaijan has allocated funds for the creation of a new platform for medical personnel to combat coronavirus; the diplomatic mission told Report.
"The British Embassy is proud to be supporting Azerbaijan by training hospital personnel to help beat COVID-19. Together with the WHO, the British Embassy is co-funding a project to help develop www.azercovid19.org - an online training platform enabling hospital personnel in Azerbaijan to access new training resources and interact with fellow professionals. In turn, hospital personnel will quickly acquire essential skills needed to help beat COVID-19," said the embassy.
So far, Azerbaijan has confirmed 1,518 coronavirus cases and 20 deaths.
