“I have visited many conflict zones. It is very sad to look at these destroyed territories. It hurts me, but some of this destruction must be preserved as a reminder of the suffering experienced,” Francisco Reyes, a traveler from Toronto, Canada, told Report.
“Recently, I visited Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are mines there too, and mines are still exploding in Cambodia. But the war there ended a long time ago, and there is still a lot of work to be done in Karabakh,” the Canadian traveler said.
Today, about 40 international travelers from more than 20 countries started their visit to Azerbaijan's Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, freed from Armenian occupation.
