Thai expert outlines priorities for future transformation of CICA

Trade opportunities among the member states of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) should be expanded, and the organization should invest in human capital, Waraporn Chatratichart, a senior researcher at the Thailand Institute of Asian Studies, said during the event "Shaping a New Asian Order" held as part of the 13th session of the CICA Think Tanks Forum, according to Report.

"We can strengthen relations by simplifying trade rules, creating digital platforms, and providing training related to the export process. In short, the organization must invest in its people," she said.

Chatratichart also emphasized that intellectual exchange is the most powerful tool for development and unity: "The future transformation of CICA will also be measured by the number of successful women entrepreneurs."
