Swedish ambassador to Baku sums up 4 years of work

Swedish Ambassador to Baku Tobias Lorentzson has summarized the embassy's work over the past four years, Report informs.

He made the remarks at a farewell reception organized by the embassy in Baku.

During his speech, the ambassador noted the embassy staff's contribution to the development of Swedish-Azerbaijani relations.

"We want to express our profound appreciation to all of you who work tirelessly to help us promote relations between Sweden and Azerbaijan!" the embassy quoted the ambassador as saying on social media.

According to him, initiatives have been implemented in recent years in the areas of education, gender equality, cultural exchange, and climate change.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation with partners from Northern Europe and the Baltic states, as well as contributions to the development of dialogue between Azerbaijan and NATO.

Lorentzson expressed gratitude to all partners for their support and particularly noted the collaboration with the Baku Nobel Heritage Foundation.
