Swedish ambassador completes his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Sweden's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Tobias Lorentzson, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

According to Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, cited by Report, the sides discussed political dialogue between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the trade, economic, humanitarian, and educational spheres. They emphasized the importance of further developing bilateral relations and maintaining mutual visits and contacts.

Bayramov expressed satisfaction with the current state of Azerbaijani-Swedish relations. He highly praised Ambassador Lorentzson's contribution to strengthening ties between the two countries during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavors.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional developments, the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, post-conflict reconstruction and restoration efforts in the region, and other issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador Lorentzson thanked the Azerbaijani side for the support extended to him during his diplomatic service in the country.
