State Department: US believes peace possible between Azerbaijan and Armenia

"We believe that peace is possible in this region and we will continue to work in this direction," Deputy Press Secretary of the US State Department Vedant Patel said while answering a question about Secretary of State Antony Blicken's call to the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Report informs.

According to him, the Secretary of State is dealing with this issue personally: “Blinken communicates with the heads of both countries at certain intervals. Our contacts with the parties continue.”
