Coronavirus, oil market crisis will not affect Baku-Moscow trade relations

Russian expert Stanislav Pritchin said there are no external factors that can affect our trade, contacts at a round table on Azerbaijani-Russian relations on the background of the situation in the region.

Pritchin: "People infected in both countries, but their number is not enough for suspension of air service or closure of borders. We can see that Azerbaijan, in general, is ready to protect itself from coronavirus - schools have already introduced a quarantine to minimize the risks, authorities canceled public events".

Commenting on oil prices, he emphasized that at the moment there are no serious challenges for the Russian and Azerbaijani economies. "Our trade is quite diversified. There are no serious global risks for economic relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. We can confidently say that Russian-Azerbaijani trade will not suffer any serious ups by the end of the year, even if the oil price will be low for a long time," .
