South Caucasus visit of EU Neighbourhood and Enlargement Commissioner kickes off

The visit of the European Union Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi to the South Caucasus has kicked off, Report informs.
The EU Commissioner arrived in Georgia today.
On July 8, Olivér Várhelyi will visit Azerbaijan. In Baku, he will meet with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov.
During the South Caucasus tour, which will last from 6 to July 9, Várhelyi will present an economic and investment plan for the Eastern Partnership region, as well as discuss the main issues of bilateral relations and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
