South African traveler: 'A lot of redevelopment is currently happening in Shusha'

Shusha is very beautiful with a lot of redevelopment currently happening here, Petro Marais, a traveler from the Republic of South Africa (SAR), told Report.

“I heard that this redevelopment would be configured very quickly. Have been seeing a lot of Karabakh and how much progress has happened as well as travelling with Charles [Charles Veley, the founder of The world's most-traveled persons club] who has been here repeatedly and him being amazed by all these…”, she said.

According to Marais, yesterday's border incident was not significantly stressful, as she personally was trained for that kind of thing.

“As for the incident from the last night, I served in Australian Navy, I have been deployed, I guess myself was trained for a situation like that… it was not something I would be stressed about...," she said.

According to earlier reports, a group of international travelers had to change their plan and travel to Shusha by a longer route due to the provocation committed by Armenian forces on the border with Azerbaijan.
