Serbian ministers to visit Baku as direct flights launch

A delegation led by Serbian Culture Minister Nikola Selaković will visit Azerbaijan on May 3, a diplomatic source told Report.

The source said the visit is linked to the launch of a direct flight between Baku and Belgrade.

Selaković is expected to arrive in Baku on May 3 and hold a series of bilateral meetings with Azerbaijani officials the following day, the source said.

The delegation will also include Serbian Sports Minister Zoran Gajić and Education Minister Dejan Vuk Stanković, and will be accompanied by more than 10 Serbian media representatives.

Selaković also serves as Serbia's co-chair of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation with Azerbaijan.

Serbia's national carrier Air Serbia is set to launch direct flights on the Belgrade–Baku route from May 3, 2026.
