The 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic is a holiday not only for Türkiye but also for Azerbaijan, the Speaker of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), Sahiba Gafarova, said during her meeting with the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmus, in Ankara, Report informs.

She expressed her satisfaction to be in Türkiye and emphasized the importance of relations between the two countries: "The 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic is a holiday for all Turkic peoples. Today, Türkiye is one of the largest and most powerful states in the Turkic world."
