Saadat Yusifova: Culture has unique role in developing Azerbaijan–UAE ties

Culture holds a unique place in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Culture Saadat Yusifova, Report informs.

Speaking at the event UAE and Azerbaijan Museums Reflect a Story of Rich Past and Promising Future, organized in cooperation between the UAE Embassy in Baku and the Ministry of Culture, Yusifova noted that culture is a universal language that brings nations closer, creates mutual understanding of history and traditions, and strengthens dialogue among different societies.

"For Azerbaijan, learning international experience and conducting mutual exchanges is of particular importance. Expanding cooperation between Azerbaijani and UAE museums can allow both countries' cultural heritage to be presented to wider audiences," she said.

The deputy minister also emphasized that developing cultural tourism routes and joint initiatives between the two countries could enable their peoples to become more familiar with each other's cultural heritage.
