Rustam Hasanov: Azerbaijan–Türkiye Forest Training Center to be ready soon

Work on the Azerbaijan–Türkiye International Forest Training Center will be completed in the coming months, Rustam Hasanov, Advisor to the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, said at the Türkiye Pavilion set up within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, after the Karabakh Victory, Azerbaijan faced challenges of a scale rarely encountered in modern world history:

"The restoration of more than 900 settlements in Azerbaijan's liberated territories was required. Forest areas also had to be rehabilitated. In response to all these challenges, Azerbaijan planned large‑scale rehabilitation and restoration measures. This was a multi‑year program. The main goals of these investments were the reconstruction of cities and villages in Karabakh, the restoration of nature, renewal of ecosystems, rebuilding of destroyed structures, and ultimately the revival of life in these territories."
