Ramil Isgandarli: Financial support key for Global South cooperation

Financial support for Global South cooperation is considered an important signal and a strong foundation for future development, Ramil Isgandarli, Chairman of the Board of the National NGO Forum, stated at the First General Assembly of the Global South NGO Platform (GSNP), Report informs.

Isgandarli noted that within this framework, more practical implementation mechanisms, projects, programs, and sustainable partnerships are needed:

"In fact, the Agency for State Support to NGOs already has experience in strengthening international cooperation of local NGOs and their relations with foreign partners. Financial support for Global South cooperation is an important signal and a strong foundation for future development."

Isgandarli also announced that he has completed his mission as Acting Secretary‑General: "Based on the Baku Principles adopted in 2025, I am concluding my mission as Acting Secretary‑General. I sincerely thank GSNP members for the high trust they have shown. I will continue to support the network through advisory, partnership, and other activities."
