Ramil Hasan, Cevdet Yılmaz discuss TURKPA's future activities

The Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), Ambassador Ramil Hasan, within the framework of his official engagements in Türkiye, met with Cevdet Yılmaz, Vice President of Türkiye, on June 17, Report informs, citing TURKPA.
During the meeting, the Secretary General of TURKPA provided detailed information on TURKPA's recently implemented projects, the activities of its permanent commissions and Groups, and expressed pleasure with the recent visit of the Vice President of Türkiye to TURKPA within the framework of his visit to Azerbaijan.
He elaborated on the work carried out, as well as on the role that TURKPA plays and may play in elevating relations among fraternal Turkic states to a new level, in the ratification by parliaments of important strategic historical decisions adopted by Heads of State within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, and also provided comprehensive information on the organization's future plans.
In turn, Cevdet Yılmaz, stated that they attach special importance to the activities of TURKPA and TURKPA Secretary General, highly valued the work carried out by Assambly since its establishment to the present day, and underlined the important role of TURKPA in the development of strategic relations of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States, their strengthening at a new stage, the advancement of parliamentary diplomacy, the harmonization of legislation among parliaments, and the creation of a common parliamentary platform.
He also noted thatTürkiye would continue to provide all possible support for TURKPA's future activities on this historic path.
The Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali accompanied the Secretary General during the meeting.
