Prospects of Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations discussed in Zangezur corridor context

The authorized representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Fuad Najafli, met with a delegation led by Kürşad Zorlu, the Deputy Chairman of Türkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Parti) and Head of the Turkic States Relations Department, on September 12, Report informs.

During the meeting, it was expressed with satisfaction that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye friendship and brotherhood relations, which gained momentum starting from the Nakhchivan period of National Leader Heydar Aliyev's political activity, continue to develop today through the efforts of the heads of state, and the importance of Nakhchivan for the Turkic world was especially emphasized.

Against the background of the realization of the Zangezur corridor, which will bring peace and prosperity to the region, opportunities for further expansion of relations were reviewed, and perspectives on joint investment projects in the fields of transportation, logistics, and mining in Nakhchivan were discussed.

At the meeting, mutual commemorative gifts were presented, and commemorative photos were taken.
