President of Uzbekistan to visit Azerbaijan for WUF13

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Baku on May 17–18 to take part in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13, at the invitation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan said in a press release, according to Report.

Mirziyoyev is expected to attend and deliver a speech at the Leaders' Summit of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, held under the auspices of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme.

The forum is dedicated to issues of sustainable urban development, provision of affordable housing, improving urban living conditions, climate stability, and enhancing housing finance mechanisms.

During the visit, a number of meetings and negotiations with heads of foreign delegations are also planned.
