EU-Azerbaijan cooperation enters new stage, President Ilham Aliyev says

Cooperation between the European Union and Azerbaijan has entered a new stage, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said as he received a delegation led by European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, who attended the 8th ministerial meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council in Baku on February 4, Report informs.
The head of state noted that more than ten years have passed since signing a joint statement on energy cooperation with the European Union. He pointed out that the collaboration between the European Union and Azerbaijan in this field has entered a new stage and continues within the Southern Gas Corridor. According to Aliyev, the project was successfully completed in a spirit of cooperation and coordination.
