PM: New strategy for socioeconomic development of Azerbaijan until 2031 being prepared

A new Socioeconomic Development Strategy for 2027-2030 is being developed in Azerbaijan, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said following a special government meeting dedicated to the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the US, Report informs.

"The Socioeconomic Development Strategy for 2022-2026, drawn up on the basis of the National Priorities approved by President Ilham Aliyev in 2021, is being successfully implemented. Today, a new Strategy is being developed that will cover 2027-2030," Asadov said.

The prime minister added that currently, the most important direction of the state policy carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is the implementation of construction and rehabilitation work in the territories liberated from occupation.
