The Milli Majlis (Parliament) Committee on Foreign and Interparliamentary Relations has called on the government to suspend economic relations with France in connection with the resolution of the French Senate.
Report informs that the committee considered it important to apply sanctions against France.
In addition, the MPs want to freeze any assets of French officials in Azerbaijan if they are discovered.
Among the proposals, there is the issue of removing all French companies, including Total, from Azerbaijan and not allowing French companies to participate in any project commissioned by the Azerbaijani state.
