Pakistan ready to participate in Karabakh's restoration, ambassador says

Pakistan is ready to participate in the restoration of Azerbaijan's Karabakh, including by involving construction companies in this work.

As a Report correspondent informs from Khankandi, Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin stated this during the diplomatic corps' visit to Karabakh.

The diplomat highly praised the restoration work being carried out in the region, noting the active development and transformation of Khankandi.

"Azerbaijan should be very proud that a gold standard for restoration is being created here. This is an example for the international community of how a territory heavily damaged by war can be so beautifully restored in such a short period," he said.

The ambassador mentioned that Pakistan is considering several areas of cooperation with Azerbaijan.

"Recently, we concluded a major defense deal and hope that we are now in the final stages of agreeing on a large energy project," Mohiuddin noted.

According to him, Islamabad is ready to contribute to the restoration of the Karabakh region.

"Pakistan is ready to come to Karabakh with our construction companies, teachers, and doctors. Azerbaijan is a brotherly country, and we are ready to cooperate with it in all areas," the diplomat emphasized.
