Omuraliev: Relations among Turkic states at highest level

Relations among Turkic states today are at their highest level, Secretary‑General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev stated at the opening ceremony of Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress, Report informs.
Omuraliev noted that the ideas voiced at the congress a century ago remain relevant today: "Important steps are being taken to strengthen ties among our peoples, develop mutual cooperation, and preserve common values. The foundation of this unity lies in the political will of Turkic states. Inspired by these ideas, Turkic states and peoples are further advancing scientific, cultural, and humanitarian relations across the Turkic world."
