Olzhas Bektenov: Turkic Investment Fund to start operating soon

The Turkic Investment Fund will soon begin its operations, becoming a key instrument for the economic integration of Turkic world countries.

According to Report, Olzhas Bektenov made the statement at the second meeting of heads of government and vice presidents of the OTSG countries in Baku.

"The Turkic Investment Fund is one of the key tools for economic integration among our countries and will start its operational activities in the near future," Bektenov said.

He also noted that during the third assembly of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Kazakhstan proposed fully institutionalizing this structure.

"I believe it is necessary to integrate the Union"s activities into the work of the Turkic Investment Fund, which will ensure effective cooperation between these economic institutions," the prime minister added.
