Novruz Mammadov extends condolences over Jacques Chirac’s death

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov expressed his condolences over the death of former President of France and prominent statesman Jacques Chirac.
Report informs that the Prime Minister wrote on his Twitter page:
“I was deeply saddened by the death of prominent politician and statesman Jacques Chirac, who was the 22nd President of France from 1995 to 2007.
"President Chirac, who displayed special sensitivity to interstate relations, had a great reputation in the international community. He worked hard to resolve the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in accordance with the norms and principles of international law.
"President Jacques Chirac will stay in our memory for a long time."
