Next meeting of Azerbaijan-Armenia border commission to be held soon

The next, third meeting of the commission on the delimitation of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border will be held soon, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a tripartite meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Astana.

The sides exchanged views on various directions of normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Bayramov stressed the importance of starting practical work based on the progress achieved during the negotiations in the tripartite working group on the opening of communications.

The minister emphasized that commissions on delimitation have already been established, and two meetings have been held so far. It was brought to attention that the third meeting is planned to be held in the near future. At the same time, it was noted that Azerbaijan is in favor of carrying out the work in specific directions in this process.
