Netherlands appoints new deputy ambassador in Azerbaijan

The Netherlands has appointed a new deputy ambassador in Azerbaijan, the Embassy of the Netherlands said in a post on X, according to Report.
"The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Baku is pleased to welcome Johannes Kirpestein as new Deputy Ambassador," the embassy said.
It further notes that Kirpestein is committed to strengthening the partnership between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan in the years ahead.
"I look forward to advancing a positive bilateral agenda between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan, politically, on peace and security, and, building on that foundation, by further strengthening our economic cooperation," the embassy quotes the deputy ambassador as saying.
