Morocco unconditionally supports sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan

Morocco unconditionally supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, respects its internationally recognized borders and demonstrates this position within the framework of international organizations, including the UN, the Non-Aligned Movement and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Mahmud Mammadguliyev said at an event in Baku on the occasion of the state holiday of Morocco - the anniversary of the ascension to the throne of King Mohammed VI.

"Our people and government highly appreciate the position of Morocco in accordance with the norms and principles of international law regarding the already settled Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, as well as the support and fair position demonstrated by Morocco during the 44 days of the Patriotic War within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movementt," the deputy minister said.
