Mirzoyan: ‘We note progress on several articles of future peace treaty with Azerbaijan’

Armenia notes progress on several articles of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at a meeting with Foreign Ministers of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov in Moscow, Report informs.

He stated that on some points “understanding already can be felt,” especially on such aspects as the opening of transport and logistics communications, as well as on the issue of delimitation and demarcation of the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the basis of the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991.

“We believe that the parties should work on further concretization of the parameters of the peace process,” Mirzoyan said, noting the importance of preventing escalation and refraining from the use of force.
