MFA: Azerbaijan committed to efforts aimed at establishing peace and security in region

Though it is Armenia that restricts the use of the Lachin road and rejects the proposal to meet the needs of the Armenian residents through the Aghdam-Khankandi road, Yerevan continues to mislead the international community by uttering absurd claims saying Azerbaijan 'blocks the Armenian residents', Report informs, citing the letter of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov circulated as a document of the UN Security Council and General Assembly.

The letter emphasized that Azerbaijan is committed to efforts towards the establishment of peace and security in the region, and in this regard, stressed the importance of urging Armenia to demonstrate a constructive approach in efforts to achieve lasting peace.
