MFA: Azerbaijan attaches great importance to friendly relations with African countries

The Republic of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to its friendly relations with African countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on X, Report informs.

"On the occasion of Africa Day, we extend our sincere congratulations and best wishes to the governments and peoples of the African continent. The Republic of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to its friendly relations with African countries," read sthe statement.

The MFA said Azerbaijan highly values cooperation with African partners across various fields, including trade, education, energy, sustainable development, and humanitarian initiatives, and looks forward to expanding its engagement both bilaterally and within international organisations. "Happy Africa Day!" it concluded.
