Mevlut Cavusoglu unveils issues discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov during Baku meeting

Baku. 14 December. REPORT.AZ/Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Çavuşoğlu informed about the issues discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov during a meeting held in Baku.

According to Report, Çavuşoğlu said that Ankara and Moscow continue their cooperation.

"We have a number of joint projects. We discussed the cancellation of the visa regime between the two countries, as well as consular issues," the Turkish Foreign Minister said.

Çavuşoğlu said that he discussed some issues on Syria and the region with Lavrov. The Foreign Minister noted that the presidents of Turkey and Russia Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Vladimir Putin often discuss various issues: " We considered the organization of a new meeting of the presidents, the solution of the problems that led to the incident in the Kerch Strait."
