Mevlut Cavusoglu: Azerbaijan showed power of Turks to entire world

Today, 80 percent of Türkiye's national defense industry is domestically produced, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Report informs, referring to Anadolu.

"If we did not reach this level, if Türkiye did not produce unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and if we did not reveal all our capabilities, including air defense systems, offensive weapons, and UAVs, Azerbaijan would have faced difficulty liberating Karabakh from occupation,” he said.

He emphasized that Azerbaijan started the war and showed the power of the Turks on the battlefield to the whole world and liberated its occupied lands.

Cavusoglu said that some forces inside Türkiye say that Ankara helped Azerbaijan during the Second Karabakh War: “Have there been such opinions? Yes. Are those people represented in the leadership of the opposition parties? Yes, they are.”

The minister said that Türkiye is already a country that creates games and averts games against Türkiye: “We are not only a regional but also a global political actor. Türkiye and the Turkish nation have always been with those who are in trouble and need help. Those we thank for their support say the same. They say that Türkiye would always come, and now we have come. Once again, we thank the countries that support us.”
