Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas: Family institution must be preserved for future generations

Türkiye's Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas, emphasized the importance of preserving and passing on the institution of the family to future generations.

According to Report, she made these remarks at today's event titled "Strong Families, Strong Societies: Family Support Policies in OTS Member States", held in Baku as part of the second meeting of ministers and heads of agencies responsible for family and social policy within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

According to her, the rising number of divorces and the declining number of marriages are common challenges faced by all countries, with social media playing a negative role in this trend.

Goktas believes that only through joint efforts aimed at preserving shared values can the future of children be protected and societies strengthened.
