The interests of all countries are not fully considered in the global governance system, according to Kirill Babaev, Chairman of National CICA Research Centre, Director, Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Report informs.
Speaking at the 13th Meeting of the CICA Think Tank Forum, Babaev noted that lessons should be learned from the Second World War.
"The world we live in requires changes and reforms. By preventing new military blocs, we will also prevent new wars. We should promote cooperation in the greater Eurasian space. Although large states have strong cooperation opportunities, small states in this region should also become part of this cooperation. Unfortunately, the interests of all countries are still not fully considered in the global governance system. Negotiations and compromises have become very difficult today. I hope that all countries will be able to mobilize their efforts and create a unified Eurasian platform," he added.
Babaev emphasized that all countries should be interested in mutual cooperation: "This will lead us to a global governance system."
