Kenya considers UN-Habitat key partner in addressing housing challenges

Kenya views the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) as a key partner in addressing modern urban challenges, a Kenyan representative during a ministerial roundtable held within the framework of the World Urban Forum 13 in Baku.
According to Report, she emphasized that the meeting agenda is timely as it allows participants to assess progress, identify challenges, and define further steps for implementing the New Urban Agenda.
"Kenya attaches great importance to international cooperation in promoting sustainable urban development. We also recognize the important role of United Nations Human Settlements Programme in supporting member states and local authorities in responding to evolving urban challenges," she noted.
