Karabakh University to host special conference within Turkic World Week

A special conference will be held at Karabakh University as part of Turkic World Week, according to the Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov, Report informs.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress, Jafarov noted that a series of events are planned in Baku and Karabakh throughout the week:
"Panel discussions, academic sessions, artistic compositions dedicated to the First Turkological Congress, documentary screenings, concerts, and other events will be organized. In addition, an international scientific conference will take place at Karabakh University in Khankandi, with participation expected from prominent Turkologists, scholars, and researchers from across the Turkic world."
The deputy minister emphasized that, just as a century ago, Baku has once again become a hub of science and thought for the Turkic world: "Today, scholars from more than 20 countries are gathered here. Among them are rectors and heads of leading universities and research institutes, as well as representatives of the Organization of Turkic States, TURKSOY, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the Turkic Academy, and the Turkic Fund."
