Kamil Khasiyev presents copies of his credentials to Maximilian Hennig

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Austria Kamil Khasiyev has presented copies of his credentials to Maximilian Hennig, Chief of Protocol of the Austrian Foreign Ministry, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Austria wrote on X, Report informs.

"Ambassador Kamil Khasiyev presented copies of his credentials to Maximilian Hennig, Head of the Protocol Department of the Austrian Foreign Ministry, on August 25, 2026," the ministry wrote.

On July 29, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order appointing Khasiyev as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Austria.

Previously, this position was held by Rovshan Sadigbayli.
