Slovakia is interested in studying Azerbaijan's experience in unmanned aerial vehicle technologies, Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Robert Kaliňák told Report.
"Azerbaijan is well known for its highly developed technologies in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles. We are very interested in cooperation in this area. We want to adopt certain experience and also learn from your expertise," Kaliňák said.
He noted that the Slovak side had already evaluated Azerbaijani products and found that they fully met the requirements.
"We have already seen that your products are very good and meet our requirements," he said.
Kaliňák also said he planned to hold talks with Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev to discuss prospects for further cooperation.
"I have a meeting scheduled tomorrow with your minister of defense industry. We know each other very well, so I look forward to meeting him and discussing the further development of this cooperation," he added.
Kaliňák said bilateral defense cooperation was already advancing in the areas of howitzers and mortars.
He noted that Azerbaijan had received Slovak-made howitzers and said cooperation in this area would continue.
