Kaliňák: Around 15 Slovak companies to take part in ADEX 2026

Around 15 Slovak companies will take part in the ADEX 2026 international defense industry exhibition, to be held in Baku from September 30 to October 2, Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Robert Kaliňák told Report.

"This is one of the largest exhibitions in this region. It is our first time in Azerbaijan. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to participate, as ADEX has become a very important defense industry exhibition not only in this region, but on a broader scale," Kaliňák said.

He noted that Slovakia would take part in the event with its own national pavilion.

"We are very pleased to be part of the exhibition and to present a separate Slovak stand featuring Slovak companies," he added.

Kaliňák also said the exhibition would showcase the first joint product of Slovak-Azerbaijani defense cooperation - an automated mortar system.

"We will also have the opportunity to demonstrate the first result of our joint cooperation - an automated mortar system. The following day, this system will also be presented at another stand," he said.

The minister added that talks with several defense ministers attending ADEX 2026 were also planned during the exhibition.
