Kaladze says Baku to be 21st sister city of Tbilisi

"It is important to sign a memorandum of brotherhood between Baku and Tbilisi because Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Georgia," Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze told journalists before his official visit to Baku, Report's local bureau said.
According to him, the current number of sister cities of Tbilisi is 20: "Baku will be the 21st sister city of Tbilisi. It will significantly contribute to the deepening of relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan, which have existed for centuries, and will make our relations in various fields more interesting and friendly."
Baku and Tbilisi have been partner cities since 1997.
