Work on the delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border is continuing.
Report informs that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this in a statement to journalists during a visit to the Alley of Honor on the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
According to him, the delimitation and demarcation process is a long-term and technical issue.
"This is not a process that happens in a short period of time. There are many technical issues here, and work is continuing," he said.
The minister recalled that an Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev visited Armenia on April 29. He said three documents determining the procedure and regulations for further work were agreed during the meeting.
Bayramov also recalled that the Armenian delegation had earlier attended a meeting held in Gabala in November last year.
"The process is underway, and I think we will witness this in the coming months as well," he said.
