Jeyhun Bayramov meets with outgoing Malaysian ambassador

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the Ambassador of Malaysia Ahmad Kamrizamil Mohd Riza on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, cited by Report, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan–Malaysia relations, emphasizing the importance of expanding political dialogue, mutual visits, trade and economic ties, as well as cooperation in energy, education, tourism, culture, and humanitarian fields.

The meeting also reviewed cooperation within international organizations, highlighting the significance of collaboration on multilateral platforms such as the Non-Aligned Movement and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

They also exhanged views on the current situation in the South Caucasus, the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and prospects for regional cooperation.

Bayramov thanked the diplomat for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations and wished him success in his future endeavors.

The ambassador expressed gratitude for the support provided during his tenure in Azerbaijan and voiced confidence in the continued development of relations between the two countries.
