Jeyhun Bayramov meets with president of International Crisis Group

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Comfort Ero, President and CEO of the International Crisis Group, within the framework of the high-level week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the ICG president about the measures implemented by Azerbaijan to ensure peace and stability in the region after the Second Karabakh War, as well as restoration and reconstruction work. The sides exchanged opinions on Azerbaijan’s proposal to sign a peace treaty with Armenia. It was emphasized that the main goal of Armenia's recent provocations was to slow down the processes.

At the same time, within the framework of the discussions, the issues related to the reports compiled by the International Crisis Group regarding Azerbaijan were brought to the attention of the other side, and the Group's questions on a number of issues were answered.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
