Jeyhun Bayramov congratulates Bangladeshi counterpart on election as President of 81st UNGA Assembly Session

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has congratulated his Bangladeshi counterpart, Khalilur Rahman, on his election as President of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Report, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the congratulatory message was delivered during a telephone conversation between the two officials.

Bayramov emphasized the significance of the election as a reflection of Bangladesh's growing role on the international stage.

The parties also discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations, including the expansion of political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, and collaboration in the humanitarian and educational spheres.

In addition, they exchanged views on cooperation within the framework of the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Developing Eight Organization for Economic Cooperation, and other international platforms.
